About the Author
Tiffany
Toney

Award-winning actress, filmmaker, NCAA All American athlete, and breast implant illness survivor. Her debut feature film BORA was part of spotlight screenings at Sundance and Cannes, and an Official Selection at the Essence Film Festival — where she shared a stage with then-Vice President Kamala Harris. She is the founder of Sensory Overload Films LLC, and the niece of heavyweight boxing legend James "Lights Out" Toney. She is launching the Watch Her Glow Foundation in 2026 to support BII survivors worldwide.

Her commitment to women's health is deeply personal. Her grandmother is a double mastectomy survivor, her mother left a career in accounting to pursue radiology in service of breast cancer patients, and her best friend was diagnosed with breast cancer in her thirties. Tiffany's own experience with breast health and self-confidence — and witnessing the struggles of the women she loves most — has given her a renewed purpose: bridging the gap between medicine, healing, and entertainment.
